Discussion/Action – Deliberation and action to adopt a Board Resolution that: (1) ratifies the District’s 2022-2023 action of shedding its excess local revenue as determined by Texas Education Code Chapter 48 through the purchase of attendance credits as set forth in Texas Education Code Chapter 49, Subchapters A and D; (2) determines for the 2023-2024 the method under Texas Education Code Chapters 48 and 49 by which the District is to shed its state school finance system excess local revenue; and (3) authorizes the Superintendent to take any and all action and to execute and or file any and all documents and contracts necessary to carry out the will of the Board as set forth in the resolution.”
