Description:  The Board will recognize the Middle School's Health Blue Ribbon Award and the efforts of Jennifer Driscoll. 

Description:  Recommendation:
That the Board of Education approves the consent agenda as presented.

Description:  The minutes are included for Board review.

Description:  The warrant lists are attached for Board review. Bill Brockob and Griffin Sonntag reviewed the bills.

Description:  The January 2025 Personnel Report is attached.

Description:  The Board reviewed the changes in red at the December Board meeting.  Revised policies include section 7 (Students) and section 8 (Community Relations):7.70, 7.150, 7.180, 7.290, 7.340, and 8.30.

Description:  The Board of Education reviewed registration fees at the December Board meeting. Attached is the executive summary which includes the chart outlining the fees for approval as well as the fee for Preschool. 

Description:  On November 3, the principals met with a group of teachers and parents to review changes to the Parent/Student Handbook.  The handbook adjustments reflect changes to state law or new information per the Illinois Principal's Association model handbook. 

Description:  The Board of Education reviewed the attached calendar at its December meeting. It is recommended that the Board adopt the SY 2026-27 school calendar as presented.

Description:  Kriha Boucek, LLC ("KB") will be combining with Fagen Friedman & Fulfrost, LLP ("F3 Law") and will continue providing legal services to public school districts and other educational entities. KB will be joining F3 Law and we will continue to provide outstanding legal representation in the same accessible manner to which the District is accustomed.

Description:  Recommendation:
That the Board of Education approves the transfer of $700,000 from the Operations & Maintenance Fund into the Capital Projects Fund of Pleasantdale School District No. 107, Cook County, Illinois.

Description:  Matt Beran, CPA and Partner with the firm Lauterbach & Amen will present the District Audit Report.
Recommendation: That the Board of Education approves acceptance of the FY25 audit report as presented by Lauterbach & Amen.
 

Description:  Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests are filled by our FOIA officer, Mr. Sonntag.  The district fulfilled the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests below:
1. Justin Wenig of Starbridge FOIA Insights requested district purchasing records from the past several years. 
2. Jennifer Wulff requested documents showing when a hearing notice was published on the district website.
3. CT Mills of Public Info Access LLC requested a list of active district employees.
4. Owen Wang from South Cook News requested copies of vendor contracts for the current school year.
5. Owen Wang from South Cook News requested a copy of aide contracts.
6. Travis Ter Haar requested copies of any paint order made by the district over the past 5 years.
7. Shari Reid of SmartProcure requested purchasing records from the current school year.
