Discussion of the sale of Working Cash Bonds: The intent to sell Working Cash Bonds in the amount not to exceed $2,700,000 was discussed at the May 18, 2022 Board of Education meeting. This public hearing is an opportunity for the Board to ask further questions about the Bond sale. Additionally, the public will have the opportunity to ask any questions or comment on this topic.

Approve Consolidated District Plan
Description:
The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) has consolidated all grant planning, fund management, and reporting into a single system in an effort to streamline technical assistance and grant management. Our district's plans for Title I, IIA, and IDEA grants have been moved to one comprehensive plan, called the Consolidated District Plan. These plans were already in place, but must be re-submitted and approved under the umbrella of the Consolidated District Plan. We are seeking Board approval in order to submit the plan to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Approve the June 2022 Personnel Report
Description:
The June 2022 Personnel report is attached for approval. It contains the resignation of Katie Dittrich (aide) and Kornelia Cesarz (Part-time orchestra teacher). The personnel report also contains the hiring of Elisa Janusz-Hartman as a special education teacher at PES at a rate of $58,124 (MA12); Tousha Summers as the Superintendent’s Secretary at a rate of $58,000. The continued employment of the superintendent with a base salary increase of 3% per his contract and a $7500 bonus for successful completion of goals.
