VI.A. Minutes

VI.A.1. Approve minutes from the 3.13.13 special, closed and 3.18.13 special, closed and regular meetings.

VI.B. Bills and Payroll

VI.B.1. Approve payment of bills totaling $1,327,279.00.

VI.B.2. Confirm payment of the payroll for 3.29.13 in the amount of $920,001.53 and 4.12.13 in the amount of
$900,900.85.  Authorize preparation and release of payroll dated 4.26.13 and 5.10.13 .

VI.C. Adopt Teacher Appreciation Resolution.  This resolution honors our teachers during teacher appreciation week, May 6 through May 10, 2013.

VI.D. Approve out of state travel for Dr. Fields.  He has been invited by Apple to speak at their leadership conferences on 4.18 in San Diego, CA., 4.30 in Sandy, UT and 5.7 in Des Moines, IA.  A consensus of the Board was received for the 4.18 event.  There is no cost to the district.

VI.E. Approve one iPad 2 as surplus property.

VI.F. Approve fy14 school calendar

VI.G. Approve the fy14  elementary and middle schools Student Handbook and Code of Conduct.  This is an annual approval.

VI.H. Approve Food Service Contract Renewal with Aramark with a 2.5% increase for fy14.

VI.I. Approve Appointment of Cheryl Wadsworth as Treasurer Effective July 1, 2013. This is a yearly appointment as per Illinois School Code.
