Description:
Jim Bednar, Board President, called the meeting to order.
Welcome to the Prospect Heights Schoold District 23 regular school board meeting for October 14, 2020. I call the meeting to order at ________. Members of the public viewing our livestream, we are soliciting your input via email at BOE@d23.org. Messages received prior to our public comment section will be read aloud. V.A. LEA Determination
Description:
In this annual report from the Illinois State Board of Education, we have once again received a perfect score and meet the requirements in implementing the requirements of IDEA.

V.B. Maintenance and Custodian Appreciation
Description:
Maintenance and Custodian Appreciation Day was celebrated on Friday, October 2nd. We have invited Bubba Ewanio, SEIU steward and District 23 custodian, to be recognized on behalf of his members as we extend our appreciation to our crew for everything that they do to maintain a safe, clean, and healthy school environment.

V.C. National School Bus Safety Week - School Bus Driver Appreciation Day
Description:
We extend our thanks to First Student and all of their drivers and employees who we rely on for the safe and efficient transport of our students. A gesture of appreciation will be shared with our drivers on School Bus Driver Appreciation Day, October 22, 2020 in recognition of their dedication.

V.D. National School Lunch Week
Description:
This year, October 12-16 celebrates National School Lunch Week. We extend our appreciation to Organic Life and all of their employees who provide food service to our school community. As a new vendor, we have been very impressed with the high quality and efficiency of their product and service.
