II. PUBLIC HEARING: For the purpose of obtaining a Waiver of rules of the School Code as follows: The District desires to allow its full-time employees who do not reside within the District boundaries to register their children for attendance in District 117 schools, tuition free. The waiver will benefit our employees and help alleviate the shortage of highly qualified employees for the District.
