Description:  I recommend that you approve this grant request. As you know, Oak Grove School needs roofing work.  Last year the Board approved putting roofing projects out to bid, but deferred the projects to 2011 due to a Master Facility Study approved with Ruck Pate Architects. Ruck Pate has helped to prepare this grant. The roofing work estimate is $227,000. If the grant is awarded, Oak Grove could receive  $113,500 in funds to be used toward anticipated roof replacements.  If the grant is not awarded there is no negative or cost to the district.At the Janaury meeting, I will be bringing to you a request to prepare the bid specifications for the roofing work so that we can proceed during the summer of 2011 whether or not we receive this energy savings grant.
