Description:  "I move to adjourn to closed session under sections 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(3) and 120/2(c)(11) of the Open Meetings Act to discuss the selection of a person to fill a public office, as defined in the Open Meetings Act, including a vacancy in a public office, when the public body is given power to appoint under law or ordinance, and to discuss litigation, when an action against, affecting, or on behalf of the particular public body has been filed and is pending before a court or administrative tribunal, or when the public body finds that an action is probable or imminent, in which case the basis for the finding shall be recorded and entered into the minutes of the closed meeting." Roll call.
 

Description:  Public participation is a time for community members and District employees to express a point of view, not to debate an issue. There will be a sign-up sheet for the public to identify their name, address, phone number, name of the organization represented (if any), and a brief description of the topic to be addressed. The public may submit comments electronically to the Board of Education via email:  publiccomments@cusd50.org. A member of the District 50 administrative staff will follow up with you within 48 hours of this meeting to determine if you would like to discuss the issue further. Comments are limited to 3 minutes for an overall maximum of one hour and/or a 20 minute-minimum total length for any one subject (See Board Policy 2:230).
