VIII. RECOGNITION OF VISITORS
Description:  The District 50 School Board appreciates and welcomes all visitors to tonight's meeting.  We ask that visitors sign in so we can thank you for attending.

This is the time in our meeting when we invite the public to address the school board with issues and concerns.  While the board is very interested in your comments, this is not a time for discussion or debate; we cannot respond to comments or answer questions at this time.

A member of the District 50 administrative staff will follow up within 48 hours of this meeting to determine if you would like to discuss the issue further.  In the interest of time, we ask that you keep your comments brief and limit them to three minutes.

Since our board meetings are recorded for re-broadcast to the public, your comments will be recorded as well.  We ask that you keep your comments civil and professional.  We reserve the right to stop anyone who does not comply with this request.  If you are interested in making a comment, please raise your hand.  When called on to speak, please give your name.  Thank you!

XI.B. Approval of Amendment to Multi-Year Superintendent Employment Agreement
Description:  SUPERINTENDENT RECOMMENDATION:  "I move to approve amendment to Superintendent Employment Agreement with Dr. Corey Tafoya, as discussed and reviewed by the Board in closed session, that extends contract term to June 30, 2021 and sets an annual salary in the amount of $178,500 for the 2018-2019 year, which is 2% increase from 2017-2018." Description:  On September 10, 2018, Toni Harmon, FOIA Officer, receive a request from Josh Fine, HBO, requesting the following information:  How many boys played 11-man high school football in the 2012-2013 school year? How many of the boys who played 11-man high school football in the 2012-2013 school year received free or reduced lunch?  What percent of your district’s general high school population received free or reduced lunch in the 2012-2013 school year? How many boys played 11-man high school football in the 2017-2018 school year?  How many of the boys who played 11-man high school football in the 2017-2018 school year received free or reduced lunch? What percent of your district’s general high school population received free or reduced lunch in the 2017-2018 school year?  On September 20, 2018, Toni Harmon forwarded the information electronically.

On September 21, 2018, Toni Harmon, FOIA Officer, received a request from Miles Essner, HBO,  requesting the following information:  How many boys played a sport other than football in the fall of 2012? Of the boys who played a sport other than football in the fall of 2012, how many received free or reduced lunch? How many boys played a sport other than football in the fall of 2017? Of the boys who played a sport other than football in the fall of 2017, how many received free or reduced lunch? How many boys played a sport other than football during the 2012-2013 school year? Of the boys who played a sport other than football in the 2012-2013 school year, how many received free or reduced lunch? How many boys played a sport other than football during the 2017-2018 school year? Of the boys who played a sport other than football in the 2017-2018 school year, how many received free or reduced lunch? On October 1, 2018, Toni Harmon forwarded the information electronically.

On October 4, 2018, Toni Harmon, FOIA Officer, received a request from the City of Harvard requesting payment bond from the contractors that worked on the junior high construction project, performance bond from the contractors that worked on the junior high construction project, and bond information from the firm that sold the bonds to help fund the construction.  On October 9, 2018, Guy Clark forwarded the information electronically.
