Description:
The District 50 School Board appreciates and welcomes all visitors to tonight's meeting. We ask that visitors sign in so we can thank you for attending. This is the time in our meeting when we invite the public to address the school board with issues and concerns. While the board is very interested in your comments, this is not a time for discussion or debate; we cannot respond to comments or answer questions at this time. A member of the District 50 administrative staff will follow up within 48 hours of this meeting to determine if you would like to discuss the issue further. In the interest of time, we ask that you keep your comments brief and limit them to three minutes. XV. FOIA REQUESTS
Description:
On August 7, 2018, Toni Harmon, FOIA Officer, received a request from Katherine Smyser at NBC5 Universal requesting records sufficient to show all cases where Harvard Community Unit School District 50 paid a plaintiff or plaintiffs -- by verdict, settlement or satisfaction -- as the result of a sexual misconduct or sex/gender discrimination claim, from January 1, 2008, to the present. The records should also include information about settlements or payments that did not involve a court of law. In addition, all records of separation agreements and/or payments to individuals who stopped working with Harvard Community Unit School District 50 after being accused of sexual misconduct, harassment, or sex/gender discrimination were requested. On August 17, 2018, Toni Harmon forwarded the information electronically.
On August 7, 2018, Toni Harmon, FOIA Officer, received a request from Bethany Simpson at SmartProcedure to provide all purchasing records from June 1, 2018, to September 3, 2018. On September 4, 2018, Toni Harmon forwarded the information electronically. |
