15. The Board of Regents, in accordance with Section 551.07 et.seq. of the Texas Government Code will move into Executive Session under the following provision(s) of the Act:
A. Pursuant to Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code, private consultation with the Board's attorney when the Board seeks the advice of its attorney about: (1) pending or contemplated litigation; (2) a settlement offer: or (3) on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with this chapter. B. Pursuant to Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code, deliberation regarding the appointment, evaluation, reassignment, duties,discipline, or dismissal of a public officer and/or employee, specifically regarding the Policy DGBA (LEGAL) appeal filed by Ms. Richards. 1. Discussion regarding Level IV appeal filed by Ms. Heidi Richards, pursuant to Board Policies DGBA (LEGAL) and DGBA (LOCAL). 2. Discussion regarding the appointment of individuals. |
