BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Rick Sansted will share with the board the "206 Points of Pride." The persons being recognized this month are as follows: Four teams of 5th graders placed in the top ten at the regional Math Masters competition in April:

In the individual problem solving competition, multiple students placed in the top 20:
In the Fact Drill competition, Jack Carpenter place 2nd and Nate Amundson placed 3rd, with the following students placing in the top 20:
Seventeen students eared a Minnesota Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish:
Seventh graders Addie Miller and Britton Peper won first place in the MN Student Digital Mapping Competition with their solar panel project. Sophia Nohre was chosen to be one of two student speakers at the Charting the C’s Conference 2026. She presented "Unbreakable Spirits, Breakable Bones: Understanding Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) in the Classroom" to educators, staff and families supporting students with low-incidence disabilities. Jolene Katchmark, paraprofessional at Lincoln Elementary, was named a 2026 recipient of the Recognizing Excellence in Classified Employees (REACH) Award. She is being recognized for the excellence she demonstrates in her role to make a meaningful impact in her school and community. The AAHS Jazz Ensemble received a Superior Rating at the regional contest in April. MMEA has selected three AAHS students to be All-State Musicians this year:
Athletes recognized this past month as Central Lakes Conference Performers of the Week in their respective sport include:
In Archery, Aubri Miller qualified to shoot in the 2026 Western National Archery Tournament at the Mountain America Center in Sandy, UT. She shot a score of 280 and placed 52nd in the high school girls division and 72nd out of the total of 1,115 girls. The Wresting Team was recognized as the Section 8AA Academic Champions and as the Academic Gold Team by the MWCA. Senior wrestler Nolan Fettig broke the all-time career wins record with a phenomenal 177 wins. Robotics Coach, Jennifer Engle, has been selected to present about FIRST Robotics at the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) - MN’s inaugural "Women in Engineering: Built to Lead" event. Adrian Miles threw a 60 ft, 5.25 in throw, breaking not only a meet record, but also the school record. Adrian also set a new school record in the discus, breaking his own school record in the process. DECA students returned from the ICDC conference with many placing in the top 18:

IV.C. APPROVE PERSONNEL RECOMMENDATIONS

Personnel recommendations are made monthly. The conditional offers of employment are subject to successful completion of a criminal background check and I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification, and where applicable, the issuance of the required license. RECOMMENDATION: The administration recommends the board approve the personnel recommendations as presented on the following pages. |

IV.D. APPROVE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING FOR PRINCIPALS
