Description:
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Rick Sansted will share with the board the "206 Points of Pride." The persons being recognized this month are as follows: AAHS band students Carter Olson and Carter Gamm were selected to represent Alexandria in the Central Lakes Conference Honor Jazz Band. Athletes recognized this past month as Central Lakes Conference Performers of the Week in their respective sport include:
Hannah Hoff took 2nd place in the 100 yard backstroke at the CLC Section 8AA Championship and earned a trip to the State Swim & Dive Meet. Both the Boys Cross Country Team and the Girls Cross Country Team were runners up at Sections and earned a trip to the State Cross Country Meet, where they each received the Academic Gold State Award. The Girls Team placed 7th at State, while the Boys Team placed 16th. Cross Country All-State Honors were awarded to Matty Soderholm, Jakin Miller, Cedric Soderholm, Citori Halbe and Quinn Hills. The Girls Tennis Team took 6th place at the State Tennis Tournament and earned the Academic Gold State Award. Addison Stevenson and Kennedy Stevenson placed 6th at State in Individual Doubles Girls Tennis. Individual tennis honors include:
Boys Soccer saw a number of honors as well, including:
The Football Team became the Section 5A Champions and advanced to the State Tournament. Evan Zabel and Jack Morrissette have been selected for the All-Star Football game. Individual football honors went to:
Ty Granning was named North Star District Assistant Football Coach of the Year. |

IV.B. APPROVE PAYMENT OF BILLS FOR OCTOBER 2025

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Because of the many year-end accounting adjustments and entries that need to be made, the financial reports for October 2025 will be presented when the number accurately reflects fiscal year 2025-2026 activities. The listing of bills for payment is the last attachment to this agenda. RECOMMENDATION: The administration recommends the board approve the payment of bills for October 2025. |

VI.A. ACCEPT COMPREHENSIVE ACHIEVEMENT AND CIVIC READINESS SUMMARY

Trish Perry will provide an overview of the 2024-2025 Comprehensive Achievement and Civic Readiness Report Summary. Under Minnesota Statutes, section 120B.11, school districts are to develop a Comprehensive Achievement and Civic Readiness Annual Report and report summary for each school year. RECOMMENDATION: The administration recommends the board accept the 2024-2025 Comprehensive Achievement and Civic Readiness Report Summary as presented. |

VI.B. APPROVE FIRST READING OF 2026-2027 AAHS CURRICULUM AND PROGRAM MODIFICATIONS

VI.D. ADOPT RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING COMBINED POLLING PLACES

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Amendments to Minnesota Statutes Section 205A.11 require school boards to annually designate, by resolution, any changes to combined polling places for stand-alone school district elections. The locations of these combined polling places have also been limited to those locations designated for use as a polling place by a county or a municipality. RECOMMENDATION: The administration recommends the board adopt the resolution combining polling places for multiple precincts and designating hours during which the polling places will remain open for voting for school district elections not held on the day of the statewide election. |
