Description:
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Rick Sansted will share with the board the "206 Points of Pride." The persons being recognized this month are: Coach Travis Hochhalter was named Section 8AA Girls Cross Country Coach of the Year, while Nikki Paradis was selected as Section 8AA Girls Cross Country Assistant Coach of the Year. Russ Hinrichs was chosen this year’s Northstar North Sub District Assistant Football Coach of the Year. Four AAHS students were named Athlete of the Week:
Seniors Sawyer Rumohr and Brayden Staples were selected to spots on the 2023 Minnesota All Star Football Team. Erica Johnson placed 3rd in diving at the State Swimming & Diving Meet. Other State participants were Jisella Haskamp, Hannah Hoff, Grace Urke and Rayna Holm. The Football Team claimed the title of Section 8AAAAA Champions and participated in the Semi-Finals. The Girls Soccer Team became this year’s Section 8AA Champions. Community Education Instructor Josh Lang received the 2023 Youth Development Award from the PGA Minnesota Section for demonstrating involvement in the promotion and development of junior golf at the club level. Our eSports program sent two teams to the Central Region Semifinals. Duane Linder, Diora Hanson, Austen Hegg, Damon Foix and Sean Parks competed in the PlayVS Central Region Mario Kart semifinal, finishing 3rd out of 75 teams in the region. Otto Henrich, Sigfried Henrich and Austen Hegg competed in the PlayVS Central Region Finals in Super Smash Brothers, defeating teams from high schools and academies in Chicago, Kansas City and Nashville. The Cast and Crew of Mamma Mia were awarded 7 honors through the Hennepin Theatre Trust Spotlight Education program, including Overall Outstanding Performance in Musical Theatre. |
IV. PUBLIC COMMENT ON PROPOSED TAX LEVY

Personnel recommendations are made monthly. The conditional offers of employment are subject to successful completion of a criminal background check and I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification, and where applicable, the issuance of the required license.
