BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Rick Sansted will share with the board the "206 Points of Pride." The persons being recognized this month are: The Football Team has earned the Gold Award for having a team GPA of 3.42. Jordan Nicholson has been named an Academic All State Athlete for football, while Ellen Panther and Ella Westlund earned the same title for girls soccer. Also in girls soccer, Sophia Korynta earned a spot on the State All Tournament Team. Girls Swimming & Diving sent multiple participants to the State Tournament:
Setting records in the pool this season were:
Eighth graders Kaylynn Fox, Isabella Gwenigale and Alayna Waggoner gave a presentation to Geneva Capital to secure a donation of $7,315 for a new dock at Discovery Middle School. The Cast and Crew of Chicago: Teen Edition were awarded 11 honors through the Hennepin Theatre Trust Spotlight Education program, including Outstanding Achievement in Musical Theatre. The AAHS Carolers are celebrating 60 years of performing holiday music around the Alexandria community. School Board service:
