6.a. Recertification of Hazardous Bus Routes for the 2023-2024 School Year.
Description:
Each year the Board must recertify the Hazardous Bus Routes for Benjamin SD 25. Basically, all of the Benjamin and Evergreen routes are considered within a hazardous walking boundary. Students cannot cross North Ave, Fair Oaks Rd or Morton Rd. Attached is a map of Benjamin's school district boundaries (gray-shaded). The red lines indicate walking hazards. Benjamin middle school is listed as (BMS). Almost all of Benjamin's students are bus eligible 245/250. Some Evergreen students can walk. Evergreen Elementary is listed on the map as (EES).
