5. DETERMINATION OF COMPENSATION
The Board can set its own rate of compensation. During 2023, the Board elected to pay each member $100.00 per meeting. |

6. SETTING OF MILEAGE ALLOWANCE
Board members and school personnel will be paid at the rate established by the IRS. Rate is currently $0.67 cents per mile for business miles driven, beginning Jan.1, 2024. |
|
7. SETTING OF REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING
As per SouthWest Metro Intermediate District By-Law 302.5, "The Governing Board shall meet at least 6 times per calendar year. Meetings in the months of June, July, and December shall be scheduled, but only convened as necessary." Monthly Board meetings will be scheduled on the third Tuesday of each month at 5:30 PM. The meetings will be held during the following 9 months: January, February, March, April, May, August, September, October, and November and convened as necessary in June, July, and December. |

8. ESTABLISH LEGAL REPRESENTATION
