WHEREAS the following; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the School Board of Independent School District #162-Bagley School Board does hereby accept the following donation: *$546.50 from Clearwater County Ag. Society for Elementary Art |
6.B. 2023 Payable 2024 Preliminary Levy
Levy Limitation and Certification 2023 Payable 2024 I recommend the School Board certify the "Maximum" on the Levy Limitation and Certification 2023 payable 2024. When a School Board certifies the "Maximum", no specific dollar amount is given, so there is no need to decertify revisions to the Levy Limitations and Certification (LLC) report. The Board can make corrections downward, but cannot raise the Levy after the Board Certifies the preliminary Levy. |

6.D. Resolution Establishing Absentee Ballot Board
Description:
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AN ABSENTEE BALLOT BOARD
FOR THE NOVEMBER 7, 2023 SCHOOL DISTRICT SPECIAL ELECTION WHEREAS, the School Board of Independent School District 162 (Bagley Public Schools) is required by Minnesota Statutes 203B.121, Subd. 1 to establish an Absentee Ballot Board effective September 22, 2023; WHEREAS, this board will bring uniformity in the process of accepting or rejecting returned absentee ballots in the Special School Board Election; and WHEREAS, the Absentee Ballot Board would consist of a sufficient number of election judges as provided in section 204B.19 to 204B.22 or deputy county auditors trained in the processing and counting of absentee ballots; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the School Board of Independent School District No. 162 (Bagley Public Schools) hereby establishes an Absentee Ballot Board that would consist of a sufficient number of election judges as provided in sections 204B.19 to 204B.22 or deputy auditors to perform the task. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the School Board of Independent School District No. 162 (Bagley Public Schools) hereby appoints the following election judges and deputy county auditors as the Absentee Ballot Board: Lorraine Brustad, Kay Peterson, Susan Melbo, and Karla Netland. |
