Administration recommends designating Nicolet Bank as the official depository for 2024. PFM Asset Management, Minnesota School District Liquid Asset Fund (MSDLAF), MN Trust, PMA Financial, US Bank, UMB Bank, and Ehlers Public Finance Advisors are additional designated banking institutions and investment corporations.

6. Designation of Official Newspaper

Description:
It is recommended that the Chaska Herald be designated as the official newspaper for publication of proceedings, notices, etc. effective January 1, 2024.

7. Resolution Advertising for Bids

Description:
It is recommended to preapprove advertising for bidding of budgeted projects and supplies based on state statute for the period of January 2024 - December 2024.

8. Resolution Delegating Contracting and Purchasing Authority to the Superintendent
Description:
It is recommended to authorize the superintendent, in accordance with all applicable laws, policies, and regulations to purchase and contract for goods and services not to exceed $175,000 that are within the budget the Board has approved.

9. Establish Board Member Compensation
Description:
School board members' compensation $4000/year
School board chairperson compensation $4500/year Board member serving on Personnel / Negotiations committee receive an additional $1,020 during the year of teacher contract negotiations |
