7.A. Review, discuss and consider for adoption "Certified Tax Roll".
7.B. Review, discuss, and consider for approval to appoint a resident of West Sabine ISD to serve a two (2) year term on the Sabine County Appraisal District Board of Directors. The resident must have resided in the district for at least two (2) years immediately preceding the date the individual takes office.
7.C. Review and discuss additional employee leave days due to CoVid quarantine or isolation. Review, discuss, and consider for approval the following resolutions:
7.C.a. Resolution relating to additional days of paid leave for COVID-19 quarantine or isolation time to all employees.
7.D. Review, discuss, and formalize contract and agreement with Apptegy to fulfill District Communication Software obligation within ESSER III Use of Funds Plan.

7.H. Review, Discuss, and Consider the purchase of 2 school buses to be purchased with the use of ESSER funds.  Discuss and Consider the following:
7.H.a. School Bus with Lift in order to allow for social distancing per CDC recommendations to be no more than $110,000 from ESSER III funding.
7.H.b. 71 Passenger School Bus in order to allow for social distancing per CDC recommendations to be no more than $105,000 from ESSER III funding.
7.I. Review, Discuss, and Consider the purchase of 1 Ford Fleet Transit 350 HD with EcoBoost (by BlueBird MicroBird Inc) vehicle for an amount not to exceed $75,000.
7.J. Review and discuss Translation Regulation, Special Programs Federal Title I EHBD, issued 9/27/2021 in Update 64.
7.K. Review and discuss the State & Federal Grants Manual.

8. Executive/Closed Session
Description:  The Board of Trustees will conduct an Executive/Closed Session pursuant to the following provisions of the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Section 551.001 et seq. All final votes, actions, or decisions will be taken in Open Session.
  • 551.071 -Consultation with Attorney: A governmental body may conduct a private consultation with its attorney when the governmental body seeks the advice of its attorney about pending or contemplated litigation; or a settlement offer; or on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with this chapter.
  • 551.074 -Deliberate the Appointment, Employment, Evaluation, Reassignment, Duties, Discipline, or Dismissal of a Public Officer or Employee; or to Hear a Complaint or Charge Against an Officer or Employee.
