Description:
Limited to approximately fifteen (15) minutes as administered by President of the Board.

VII. Discussion Concerning Tentative Agreement with South Harrison Education Association IC 20-29-6-19
|
VII.1. (a) In addition to holding at least one (1) public hearing with public testimony as described in IC 20-29-6-1(b), the school employer must conduct a public meeting to discuss a tentative collective bargaining agreement at least seventy (72) hours before it is ratified by the school employer.

VII.2. (b) Notice of the time and the location of the public meeting and a tentative collective bargaining agreement established under this chapter must be posted on the school employer's Internet website at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the public meeting described in subsection (a). The posting to the website was made on Friday, September 22, 2023.

VII.3. (c) A school employer must allow for public comment at the meeting at which a tentative collective bargaining agreement is ratified. Ratification is planned to be Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 7:00 PM.

VII.4. (d) Not later than fourteen (14) business days after the parties have reached an agreement under this chapter, the school employer shall post the contract upon which the parties have agreed on the school employer's Internet website. If ratification is complete by Tuesday, October 3, 2023, then the contract will be posted on the website by Tuesday, October 17, 2023.
