9.C. Recognition of Valedictorian and Salutation: Cathy Williams, Principal at Castleberry High School, will recognize the 2021-2022 Valedictorian and Salutatorian for Castleberry High School.

9.D. Recognition of Cheerleaders and Staff: Abby Crawford, Director of Fine Arts, will introduce the Cheer Coaches who will recognize students and staff from IMMS and CHS for their accomplishments in Cheerleading.

10. CONSENT AGENDA

10.A. Consider Approval of Board Minutes from April 11, 2022, for a Regular Meeting.
|
10.B. Consider Approval of the Master Inter-Local Agreement with Region 11 Educational Service Center. The Master Inter-Local Agreement allows Districts to participate in purchasing services through the ESC Region 11 bidding process.
|
10.C. Consider Approval of the ESC Region XI Support Services Contracts for 2022-2023. These contracts include Comprehensive Services, HR Resources, Instructional Services, OnData Suite, Library Services, PEIMS and Technology Services.
|
10.D. Consider Approval of Canine Team Contract with Interquest Detection Canines for 2022-2023: The district will continue to use Interquest Detection Canines for contraband detection. The contract covers nineteen half-day visits to the district. The cost is $290.00 per visit (up $20.00 per visit vs. the 2021-22 school year).

10.E. Consider Approval of the Castleberry ISD Numeracy Plan: The District Numeracy Plan outlines the district's vision, goals, instructional components, and supports to achieve academic excellence and college and career readiness standards.

10.F. Consider Approval of the Purchase of Custodial Supplies: Financial Services advertised RFP#22-009 for Custodial Supplies. A list of recommended vendors is attached for your review.

11.A.1. Consider Approval of the Talent Acquisition Coordinator Recommendation: Renee Smith-Faulkner, Superintendent of Schools will present a recommendation to the Board of Education for approval of the Professional Contract for the Talent Acquisition Coordinator.

11.A.2. Consider Approval of the Innovation Leader Recommendations: Renee Smith-Faulkner, Superintendent of Schools will present two recommendations to the Board of Education for approval of the Professional Contracts for the Innovation Leaders.

11.A.3. Consider Approval of the 2022-2023 Professional Contract Renewals: Renee Smith-Faulkner, Superintendent of Schools will present a recommendation to the Board of Education for approval of the Professional Contract Renewals for the 2022-2023 school year.

11.A.4. Consider Approval of the 2022-2023 Teacher, Librarian, and Nurse Contract Renewals: Renee Smith-Faulkner, Superintendent of Schools will present a recommendation to the Board of Education for approval of the Teacher, Librarian, and Nurse Contract Renewals for the 2022-2023 school year.

11.B.1. Consider Approval of Budget Amendment: Displays any necessary budget amendments that should be made due to spending patterns. By law, the District may not exceed the budget amount within "Function" code without prior approval of the Board. The budget amendment is needed to balance functions within the funds for the end of the fiscal year.

11.B.2. Consider Approval of the Care Coordination Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between MHMR of Tarrant County and Castleberry ISD: This MOU enhances the coordination of care between parties to aid in information exchange, collaborative treatment planning, and care coordination activities.

BrightBytes Survey Results: Includes a comparison of the 2021 and 2022 technology readiness survey results in the areas of access to technology, technology support, use of technology to deliver instruction and engage students, awareness of social and emotional learning (SEL), student and teacher technology proficiencies, along with providing a list of the most highly requested professional learning.

12.C.1. The District of Innovation (DOI) Plan: Dr. Myrna Blanchard, Director of Talent Acquisition, will hold a public meeting on May 23, 2022 at the District Educational Improvement Committee (DEIC) meeting. DEIC will review and approve the proposed DOI Plan. Action Item on June 6, 2022

12.C.2. Term Contract Non-Renewals and Probationary Contract No-Actions: Renee Smith-Faulkner, Superintendent of Schools reports there are no recommendations for Non-Renewal of Term Contracts and no recommendations for No-Action of Probationary Contracts to the Board of Education for approval.

12.C.3. Employee Resignation Update: Dr. Myrna Blanchard reports there are five professional resignations as of April 25, 2022.
