5.A.1. District Improvement Plan: Renee Smith-Faulkner, Superintendent of Schools, will provide an update on the progress of the 2021-2022 District Improvement Plan.
5.A.2. Elementary Campus Improvement Plans: Each elementary campus has completed the Campus Improvement Plan (CIP) formative assessment update and will present a summary of progress on goals and strategies which were shared with the Board of Education on October 4, 2021.

8.C. Recognition of Guests: Karelyn Roberts, Principal at Irma Marsh Middle School, will introduce the IMMS Students and Staff who will be conducting the Irma Marsh Middle School recognitions.
8.D. Recognition of Guests: Wanda Byther, Principal at REACH High School, will introduce the REACH Students and Staff who will be conducting the REACH High School recognitions.
9. DISCUSSION ITEMS
9.A. Consider All Matters Incident and/or related to Public Officers and Employees, including but not limited to, Contracts Resignations, Hiring, Assignments, Allocations, and Salaries.
9.A.1. District of Innovation: Dr. Myrna Blanchard, Director of Human Resources, will present the revised CISD District of Innovation Plan and renewal exemptions from provisions of the Texas Education Code that will be submitted to the Commissioner of Education.
9.A.2. School Closures, February 3-4, 2022/Board Resolution: Dr. Myrna Blanchard, Director of Human Resources, has provided the proposed Resolution of the Board Regarding Wage Payments during Emergency School Closings (No Premium Payment) due to inclement weather, Thursday, February 3- Friday, February 4, 2022, for Board consideration.
9.A.3. The District would like to offer an Early Notice Incentive Plan that incentivizes employees to notify the District of their retirement and or resignation in advance of the traditional May and June resignation period.
10. CONSENT AGENDA
10.A. Consider Approval of Board Minutes from January 10, 2022, for a Regular Meeting, January 11, 2022, for a Special Meeting, January 27, 2022, for a Special Meeting, and February 7, 2022, for a Special Meeting.
10.B. Consider Approval of Educational Consultants: Financial Services advertised RFP# 22-005 for Educational Consultant services. A list of recommended consultants is attached for your review.
10.C. Consider Approval of Board Policy Update 118: Renee Smith-Faulkner, Superintendent of Schools, will present a recommendation to the Board of Education to approve Board Policy Update 118.
11. ACTION ITEMS
11.A. Consider All Matters related to Teaching, Learning, and Innovation, including, but not limited to reports, finances, and/or proposals.
11.A.1. Consider Approval of the CISD Academic Planning Guides: The Academic Planning Guides for the 2022-2023 school year were presented as an information item on December 13, 2021 and a discussion item on January 10, 2022.
11.A.2. Consider Approval of Proposed 2022-2023 School Calendar: This calendar was developed and approved by the DEIC and received the majority vote by Castleberry ISD employees and parents.
11.B. Consider All Matters Incident and/or related to Public Officers and Employees, including but not limited to, Contracts Resignations, Hiring, Assignments, Allocations, and Salaries.
11.B.1. Consider Approval of Contract Renewals: Renee Smith-Faulkner, Superintendent of Schools, will present a recommendation to the Board of Education to approve contract renewals for the Superintendent's Cabinet members.
11.B.2. Consider Approval of the Director of School and Student Support: Renee Smith-Faulkner, Superintendent of Schools, will present a recommendation to the Board of Education to employ the Director of School and Student Support, subject to assignment.
11.B.3. Consider Approval of a Resolution of the Board Regarding Wage Payments during Emergency School Closings (No Premium Payment): Renee Smith-Faulkner, Superintendent of Schools, will present a recommendation to the Board of Education to approve a Resolution of the Board regarding Wage Payments during Emergency School Closings (No Premium Payment) due to inclement weather, Thursday, February 3-Friday, February 4, 2022.

12.A.1. Elementary and Secondary Science Annual Report: The annual reports will highlight the elementary and secondary science instructional programs and initiatives for the upcoming school year.
12.B. Consider All Matters related to Financial, including but not limited to reports, finances, and/or proposals.
12.B.1. Monthly Expenditure Report: The attached schedule lists all checks written for the month of January 2022.
12.B.2. Castleberry High School Baseball team received a donation of $200 from Mr. David Cashion. An appreciation letter is attached.
12.B.3. Board Budget Report as of December 31, 2021. This report shows Revenue and Expenditures by Fund and Function.
12.B.4. Investment Report: The quarterly investment report ends December 31, 2021. This report shows District investment by fund for the quarter ending December 31, 2021.
12.B.5. Tarrant County Tax Collection Report for December 31, 2021, reflects the amount of current and delinquent taxes, penalties and interest collected for the month and year to date.
12.C. Consider All Matters Incident and/or related to Public Officers and Employees, including but not limited to, Contracts Resignations, Hiring, Assignments, Allocations, and Salaries.
12.C.1. Spring Job Fair Recruiting: Dr. Myrna Blanchard reports the CISD 2022 Spring Job Fair Recruiting summary and schedule.
12.C.2. Public Information Request: Dr. Myrna Blanchard reports the Public Information Requests received and processed (16) by Castleberry ISD from October 2021- February 2022.
12.C.3. Job Description Review: Dr. Myrna Blanchard reports a summary of the process and timeline for this spring's Job Description Review.
12.C.4. Employee Agreements: Dr. Myrna Blanchard reports two professional employees hired under Employee Agreements as of February 7, 2022.
12.C.5. Employee Resignation Update: Dr. Myrna Blanchard reports there are three resignations as of February 7, 2022.
12.D. Consider All Matters related to Student Services/Capital Improvements Projects, including but not limited to reports, finances, and/or proposals.
12.D.1. Capital Improvements Projects Update (2021-22): The Projects Report reflects work scheduled to be completed and funds expended through the 2021-22 school year.
12.D.2. Department of Athletics Fall Program Evaluation: Includes a report on each of the Fall sports for the 2021-22 school year.
12.D.3. New Extracurricular Organizations: CISD campus principals report no new extracurricular organizations for the 2022-23 school year.
