5.A.1. 2018-2019 Fiscal Year End Financial Audit and Management Letter: Hankins, Eastup, Deaton, Tonn & Seay has given the District an unmodified opinion. This is the highest level given for financial reporting. Bound copies of the audit will be presented at the Board Meeting.

5.B. Consider All Matters related to Teaching, Learning, and Innovation, including, but not limited to reports, finances, and/or proposals.

5.B.1. Targeted Improvement Plans. This presentation provides information on the required Targeted Improvement Plans (TIP) developed for REACH High School, Irma Marsh Middle School, Joy James Elementary, and Castleberry Elementary based on 2018-19 state and federal accountability ratings.

5.B.2. Campus Improvement Plans (Secondary): Campus Improvement Plans for the 2019-2020 school year have been provided for review. Principals from Irma Marsh Middle School, and REACH High School will provide the board with a presentation to highlight a variety of strategies each campus will be working on this school year.

11.C.1. Consider Approval of Sale (Online Auction) of District Furniture & Equipment: Lone Star Auctioneers is a certified small business headquartered in the Metroplex. Lone Star’s Online Auction is a full-service firm providing a full range of auction services to all levels of government: city, county, state and federal. For city and county governments and school districts, Lone Star sells office equipment, furniture, and surplus vehicles.

12.A.1.a. Financial Services Evaluation: This report includes Financial Services performance highlights, improvements and program solutions.

Child Nutrition Evaluation: Some of the reports highlighted information is about the second Jr. Chef Competition, the second annual Lone Star Chef Competition, the opening of two locations for the Summer Food Service Program, partnering with Books & Bytes to provide meals to community children, monthly Discovery Days, being recognized by the Texas Department of Agriculture for serving local products, and Performance Improvements and Solutions.
