IV.A. Resolution Relating to Canvassing Returns of Special Election
Description:  According to Minnesota Statute 205A.10, the School Board shall meet, canvass returns and declare the results of the special election between the third and tenth day after the election.

IV.C. Ratification of the 2020-2021 Tentative Agreement with Owatonna Nutrition Services Staff
Description: 

School District and the Owatonna Nutrition Services Staff representatives reached a tentative agreement on an agreement for the 2020-2021 school year on October 29, 2020.  The Board has received in its previous correspondence a summary sheet of the proposed salary/benefits and language changes.  

Christina Picha will be available to answer questions.

IV.D. Bids for OEC Mechanical Upgrades
Description:  The Owatonna Education Center (OEC) mechanical upgrades project was rebid on October 20, 2020. Kraus-Anderson verified all bidders.  The attachment lists the lowest responsible bidders including alternate #1 and their total contract amount for all work scopes.

IV.E. Learning Model Plan
Description:  At the November 9 work session, Superintendent Jeff Elstad and Amy Caron, Steele County Public Health Director, gave an update on COVID-19 in Steele County.  A temporary shift to distance learning the week following Thanksgiving was proposed to help manage COVID-19 after the holiday.  November 23 and 24 would be transition days.

Note: a change to distance learning could be required sooner if cases continue to rise.
