4. Closed Meeting - Closed meeting will be held for the purposes authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Section 551.071 - 551.076 concerning any and all purposes permitted by the Act, including but not limited to the following sections and purposes:

4.A) 551.071 For the purpose of a private consultation with the Board's attorney on all subjects or
matter authorized by law

4.A)1. when the governmental body seeks the advice of its attorney about:

4.A)1.a.  Pending or contemplated litigation or

4.A)1.b. A settlement offer; or

4.A)2.  On a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the governmental body, under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas, clearly conflicts with this chapter;

4.A)3. Consider legal advice regarding items specifically listed on the Agenda.

6. ACTION AND/OR DISCUSSION ITEMS

6.A) Consider termination of Chapter 21 probationary contracts of teachers as presented and delegate authority to the Superintendent and his designee to notify teachers in accordance with applicable law and Board policy.

6.B) Consider proposing nonrenewal of Chapter 21 term employment contracts of teachers or one or more reasons outlined in Policy DFBB (Local) as presented and delegate authority to the Superintedent and his designee to notify teachers in accordance with applicable law and Board policy. 

6.C) Consider approval of award of professional administrator, certified teacher, counselor, nurse (RN), non-certified professional and all other contracts for 2025-2026 as presented and related actions.
