5.A) Consider approval of Employee Pay Raises for the 2021-2022 school year as presented and related actions.

5.B) Discussion and Possible Action to approve the SMSD 2021-22 Compensation Plan

5.C) Discussion, update and possible action regarding Tennis Court funding 

5.D) Discussion and Possible Action to approve SMSD Director of Multilingual/ESL position as discussed in closed session

5.E) Discussion and Possible Action to approve a contract award for Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals RFP #21-002 to Nash Industries for the Agricultural Barn project for a Base Bid Amount of $969,000, which includes contractor’s base bids and an allowance of $50,000; and for the Community Center Renovation project for a Base Bid Amount of $1,249,00, which includes contractor’s base bids and an allowance of $50,000; and consider delegating authority to the Superintendent and his designee to negotiate, finalize, and execute the Contract Documents.

5.F) Discussion and possible action to approve a contract to provide skim coating, painting and associated items for the STEM Magnet in an amount not to exceed $110,000.00 and delegate authority to the superintendent or his designee to select a vendor and negotiate, finalize, and execute a contract for the same.

5.G) Discussion and possible action to amend the current General Fund budget to establish the New Instructional Facility Allotment for $764,384 from the Texas Education Agency (Budget Amendment # 5).

5.H) Consider approval of transfer of funds from the Transportation budget in an amount not to exceed $223,000 to the Community Center Renovation project, funded by the 2017 Bond Program, to cover construction costs.
 

5.I) Consider approval of transfer of funds from the New Middle School project budget in an amount not to exceed $318,000 to the New AG Barn Building project, funded by the 2017 Bond Program, to cover construction costs.

5.J) Consider approval of transfer of funds from the New Middle School project budget in an amount not to exceed $220,000 to the Management budget, funded by the 2017 Bond Program, to cover SMSD Construction Manager-Agent/Program Manager services.

5.K) Consider approval of transfer of funds from the New Middle School project budget in an amount not to exceed $226,000 to the Community Center Renovation project, funded by the 2017 Bond Program, to cover construction costs.
