Discussion:
The calendar was prepared and reviewed by the calendar committee which is composed of teachers, members of the T&L department and two parents from the district parent liaison committee.
The calendar is similar to past calendars. The major difference is the placement of the four K - 5 Planning Days directly on the school calendar. Rather than teachers scheduling these days themselves, they are scheduled on the calendar so all K - 5 teachers will have the same day/time for planning days eliminating the need to schedule subs independently.
