I. CALL TO ORDER

II. NOTICE OF MEETING 

III. ORAL - Individuals desiring to address the Board regarding an item on an Agenda for an Open Meeting must submit a completed Public Comment Request Form between 5:20 p.m. and 5:50 p.m. on the day of the meeting. 

IV. CLOSED SESSION
The Board may declare itself in a closed meeting as authorized by the Texas Open Meeting Act, Texas Government Codes Sessions 551.001-551.146. In the event a closed meeting is convened, the presiding officer shall publicly identify the section or sections authoring the closed meeting. Those sections may include without limitation the following sections under Subchapters D and E, which authorize a closed meeting to discuss the following topics:

IV.A. Section 551.071:  For the purpose of private consultation with the Board's attorney regarding pending litigation, a settlement offer, or on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the District or Board under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with the Open Meetings Act.

IV.B. Section 551.074:  For the purpose of deliberating the appointment, employment, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee, or to hear a complaint or charge against an officer or employee, unless the officer or employee who is the subject of the deliberation or hearing requests an open hearing.

IV.B.1. Discussion on Naming Dr. Jerry D. Hollingsworth as Superintendent of Schools and Employment Contract

V. DECLARE CLOSED MEETING ENDED AND RECONVENE IN OPEN MEETING

VI. CONSIDER APPROVING DR. JERRY D. HOLLINGSWORTH AS SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS AND APPROVAL OF EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT
