7.A. Approval - Graphics Design Class Mac Lab
Description:
Oak Park Schools Curriculum and Administration has determined a need for a Graphic Design course at Oak Park High School. In order to support this endeavor, a new advanced computer lab with higher processing power, storage, and capacity is necessary. Technology Services is recommending that the district create this computer lab through the purchase of twenty-five(25) Mac Mini Computers that will utilize the Adobe Creative Suite, encompassing Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere. The recommended device is the Apple Mac Mini with M2 processor, 32Gb of RAM, and 1TB local storage. We are recommending a 27" Monitor, along with device Management, and 3yr Applecare |
7.B. Approval - Oak Park High School E-Sports Program Lab
Description:
Oak Park Schools will launch an esports program at Oak Park High School for the 2023-2024 school year. In order to support this endeavor, a new esports computer lab will be created with gaming computers, furniture and displays. Technology Services is recommending that the district create this computer lab through the purchase of seventeen (17) HP Omen gaming computers, 27" monitors, 2 86" display TVs and esports workstations and chairs. |
7.C. Approval - Resurface and Relining of Oak Park High School Running Track
Description:
Rationale for Award: The Oak Park High School Running Track has been utilized heavily since it was last resurfaced nearly 15 years ago. The track has been patched over the last two years to keep the surface safe for the Track Team and for citizens that utilize the track daily. However, this patch work is expensive, temporary, and breaks down quickly.

Description:
Our K-5 Social Studies, K-5 ELA, 9-12 ELA and 6-8 Science curricular resources will be expiring by the end of this school year. These recommendations are aligned to our Michigan Continuous Improvement Plan goal of increasing Student Sense of Belonging, and our Strategic Plan Academic Goal centered on creating & implementing data-driven instructional plans to improve our academic programming. |
