A. Acknowledgement of conflict of interest policy BBFA (LEGAL) and (LOCAL) in connection with the Application for Agreement for Limitation on Appraised Value of Property for School District Maintenance and Operations Taxes from Hill Country Wind Power Mesquite Star Phase II, LLC.
 

B. Discussion and possible action to accept an Application for Value Limitation Agreement from Hill Country Wind Power Mesquite Star Phase II, LLC pursuant to Chapter 313 of the Texas Property Tax Code; authorize the Superintendent of Schools to review the application for completeness and submit the Application to the Comptroller of Public Accounts; and authorize the Superintendent of Schools to approve any request for extension of the deadline for action by the board of trustees beyond the 150-day review period, as may be required.
 

C. Discussion and possible action to retain the law firm of Leon | Alcala, PLLC and financial consultant, Jigsaw School Finance Solutions, LLC to assist the district in the review and processing of the Application for Value Limitation Agreement from Hill Country Wind Power Mesquite Star Phase II, LLC pursuant to Chapter 313 of the Texas Property Tax Code.

A. Attorney Consultation: The board may conduct a private consultation with its attorney only when it seeks the attorney’s advice about pending or contemplated litigation or a settlement offer, or on a matter in which the attorney’s duty of confidentiality conflicts with the requirement for open meetings. B. Personnel Matters: The board is not required to conduct an open meeting to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee or to hear a complaint or charge against an officer or employee. However, the board may not conduct a closed meeting for these purposes if the officer or employee who is the subject of the deliberation or hearing requests a public hearing. Tex. Gov’t Code § 551.074.
