7. Consider Approving TPESS Plan for 2021-2022 School Year
Description:
TPESS is the appraisal system for our principal (Mr. Branum). Attached is the calendar which we will follow and amend if needed. This is one of the tools to evaluate the effectiveness of this position.

Description:
This is a required document every year. We use this document as ONE of the tools to set goals for the school year.

Description:
1.) Ms. Olivarez has moved into Coach Blankenship's old house. We now have the trailer that she was living in vacant. I think it would be worth considering selling it while it is empty as it probably needs a decent amount of work. The other option would be to rent it out.
2.) Hindman Homes has said the following in terms of selling one of our 3 bedroom houses and replacing it with a 4 bedroom house like we previously discussed doing to put on Andy's lot. 2019 price of 3 bedroom house: $157,289 2019 price of 4 bedroom house: $$223,019 Current price of 4 bedroom house with increased prices on materials: $305,392 Difference and total cost to change 3 bedroom to 4 bedroom: $148,102 |
14. Consider Resolution for the Expenditure of Public Funds for Transportation of Students to the District
Description:
This is what we discussed in regards to our transfer students from Aspermont (since they did not sign the interlocal agreement). I believe we have 3 options.
(In no particular order) 1.) Pay $1,000 towards fuel per household with students transferring to Jayton. 2.) Not pay anything (I believe these students are already going to attend Jayton whether we pay anything or not). We could revisit this next year. 3.) Drive into Aspermont and be required to take every student who wishes to attend Jayton. I do not recommend this option. |

Texas Solar Nova Amendments:
As we have done before, we have updated amendments which we need to approve if we want to continue with the 313 agreements which, I believe, is in our favor in order to receive funding without paying recapture. |
