VIII.E.2. Bids for HCHS Baseball Field Improvements were opened and publicly read on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. with bidders listed as follows: 
J.E. Talley Construction, Inc.     Base Bid Amount of $459,782.50
Please accept the recommendation to reject awarding the contract to the sole bidder due to costs exceeding the budgeted amount. (DJED)

VIII.E.3. Authorize acceptance of $3,602.00 from West Harrison High School basketball booster club to West Harrison High School student activity account.  The funds will pay half the cost of a basketball shooting shot and returning machine. (DFK)

VIII.E.4. Authorize payment in the amount of $4,500.00 to Collins and Null Appraisal, Inc., for certified appraisal conducted on 90.12 (+/-) acres on 16th section land located at Crossroads Shopping Center and accept the fair market rent value as determined in the appraisal. (EBJ)

VIII.E.5. Approve request allowing North Gulfport 6th grade students permission to travel to Mobile, Alabama on May 15 or May 18, 2023, for a field trip to Flight Works Alabama. (JMA)

VIII.E.6. Approve request allowing D'Iberville Middle School cheerleaders permission to travel to Foley, Alabama on June 19-22, 2023, to attend the UCA Summer Cheer Camp. The cheerleaders pay all expenses which will exceed $5,000.00. (JMA)

VIII.E.7. Authorize D'Iberville High bass fishing team to contact the City of D'Iberville for use of D'Iberville Community Center for their annual banquet on May 16, 2023, and request them to waive associated fees. (EB)

VIII.E.8. Approve request allowing the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers Association to use facilities at D'Iberville Middle School for training on June 4-9, 2023, and waive rental fees. (EB)

VIII.E.9. Approve Mississippi Community Oriented Policing Services in Schools (MCOPS) proposal for the 2023-2024 school year.  The grant is for $200,000.00 and includes 23 campuses. (EBC)

VIII.E.10. Authorize Federal Programs to pay advance placement and dual credit fees for high school students enrolled in classes during the FY2023 - 4th quarter and eligible through Title IV, free and reduced meals. (IDGA)

VIII.E.11. Approve request from Secondary School Principals to waive days for graduating seniors enrolled in the Harrison County Alternative School program. (JCD)

VIII.E.12. Approve agreement with Will's Way, LLC, Pediatric Behavioral Psychology, for services related to behavioral therapy and school consultation services for the 2022-2023 school year. (IDDF)

VIII.E.13. Authorize acceptance of monetary donation in the amount of $1,000.00 from Beverly Coleman to North Gulfport Elementary and Middle School to help cover costs of  athletic equipment.

VIII.E.14. Approve request from the City of D'Iberville for use of athletic fields behind D'Iberville Elementary school for community use with travel league ball teams.
