7. Remote Learning Approval
Description:
Positive cases of COVID in both the staff and student population and the associated contact tracing necessitate the district transitioning to remote learning from October 27-29.
RECOMMENDATION: The superintendent recommends approving the district transition to remote learning from October 27-29, 2021. Description:
On October 4, the BOE approved administrative guidelines for the district to follow in the absence of a COVID quarantine order from the Health Department. The administrative guidelines have been updated with regard to household members, and are attached.
RECOMMENDATION: It is the recommendation of the superintendent that the attached administrative guidelines be reviewed and approved. 11. Activity Approval - Girl's Basketball Camp
Description:
BOE approval is necessary for field trips that take students more than 150 miles one way from the District or are planned to keep students out of the District overnight or longer. Jill Peterson, girls' basketball coach, is seeking approval for an overnight basketball camp from November 12-14, 2021. The activity application is attached.
