"I move to adjourn to closed session under Sections 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1) and 120/2(c)(2) of the Open Meetings Act to discuss the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees and collective negotiating matters between the public body and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees. I also move to adjourn to closed session under Section 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(5) of the Open Meetings Act to discuss the purchase of real property for the use of the public body, including meetings held for the purpose of discussing whether a particular parcel should be acquired." IX. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
Description:
Public participation is a time for community members and District employees to express a point of view, not to debate an issue. There will be a sign-up sheet for the public to identify their name, address, phone number, name of the organization represented (if any), and a brief description of the topic to be addressed. A District 50 administrative staff member will follow up with you within 48 hours of this meeting to determine if you would like to discuss the issue further. Comments are limited to 3 minutes for an overall maximum of one hour and/or a 20-minute-minimum total length for any one subject (See Board Policy 2:230).
