1. Call to order

2. Roll Call

3. Confirm execution of statement of officer forms and administer oath of office for new terms of office for the following members of the Board, who were re-elected without opposition: Robert Walker; and Albert Hawkins.
|
|
4. Hear any public comments presented at the meeting, i.e., this is when the general public may address the Board about their concerns. The Board will not comment or deliberate, except as authorized by TEX. GOV’T CODE § 551.042.

5. Review and approve the minutes of the last regular meeting of the Board, which was held on April 17, 2024.
|
|
6. Review, discuss, and consider budget report for the District.
|
|
7. Review and approve vendor and consultant invoices at or over $25,000.
|
|
8. Discuss and consider status and completion of pending financial audit
|
|
9. Discuss and consider proposed reimbursement to Hayes family for amounts advanced to the District for operations during its development stage.
|
|
10. Update regarding Hayes Innovation Center for Advanced Manufacturing (“HICAM”), specifically, status of proposed contracts with construction manager and general contractor.
|
|
11. Executive Session: Recess into executive session to deliberate and consult with attorney(s) about the following matters:
Description:
a. Consultation with attorney(s) in accordance with TEX. GOV’T CODE § 551.071; b. The purchase, exchange, lease, and/or value of real property in accordance with TEX. GOV’T CODE § 551.072; and c. Commercial or financial information received from a business prospect that the District seeks to have locate, stay, or expand in or near the District’s territory and with which the District is conducting economic development negotiations, as in accordance with TEX. GOV’T CODE § 551.087(1) |

12. Reopen the meeting; and, if necessary, take any necessary action regarding the matters discussed in the executive session.

13. Discuss and confirm dates for next meeting.
